By using CheckerFly, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our service.
Service Description
CheckerFly is a safety check-in app that helps you let trusted contacts know you're safe. We send reminders, and if you don't respond, we alert your contacts. CheckerFly is NOT a 911 service or emergency response system.
Important Limitations
CheckerFly is a communication tool, not a safety guarantee:
- Notifications may be delayed or fail due to network issues
- We cannot guarantee your contacts will see or respond to alerts
- Location data may be inaccurate or unavailable
- In an emergency, always call 911 or local emergency services directly
Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information
- Only add contacts who have consented to receive alerts
- Don't use CheckerFly for illegal activities or to harass others
- Secure your account credentials
- Don't rely solely on CheckerFly in life-threatening situations
Liability Disclaimer
CheckerFly provides the service "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:
- Failed or delayed notifications
- Inaccurate location data
- Actions or inactions of your contacts
- Network or device failures
- Personal injury or property damage
Acceptable Use
You may not use CheckerFly to:
- Spam or harass others
- Violate anyone's privacy
- Impersonate others
- Distribute malware or viruses
- Circumvent our security measures
Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior. You can delete your account at any time from the app settings.
Beta Testing
During beta testing, the service may have bugs or unexpected behavior. We may make changes without notice. Beta users help us improve the service but should not rely on it for critical safety needs.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. We'll notify you via email of any material changes before they take effect. Continued use of CheckerFly means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law
