CheckerFly is designed with privacy at its core. We only collect the minimum information necessary to provide our safety check-in service, and we never sell your personal data.

During Pre-Launch (Current)
- Email address (for launch notifications only)
- Use case preference (to understand how you plan to use CheckerFly)
- Basic analytics data (page views, button clicks) - no personal identifiers
Analytics & Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. This helps us improve the user experience and measure the effectiveness of our messaging.
What Google Analytics Collects:
- Pages you visit on our site
- How long you spend on each page
- Your browser type and operating system
- General location (city/region level, not precise location)
- How you arrived at our site (referral source)
Do Not Track:
We respect the "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser setting. If you have DNT enabled, we will not send any data to Google Analytics.

- Contact information for your trusted contacts
- Location data (only when you create a check-in, with your explicit permission)
How We Use Your Information
- To send check-in reminders and alerts
- To notify your trusted contacts when you don't check in on time
- To improve our service and fix bugs
- To comply with legal obligations
Data Retention
We retain your check-in history for 90 days. Location data is deleted after 48 hours. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app settings.
